Key roles
The ideal candidate for this position is a highly reliable and focused individual who is looking to join a dynamic and high performing customer-centric team. You will engage with customers to assist with all queries relating to new business & renewal opportunities.
Specific responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- To handle a high volume of sales & renewal enquiries in accordance with Client and Regulatory requirements,
- Explain various insurance products to potential and existing customers, guiding them toward the best coverage
- Communicate persuasively with Customers to maximise sales, subject to Client and Regulatory requirements
- To respond to Customer enquiries and questions (product or service) in a confident and knowledgeable manner
- To effectively manage customer requests submitted by telephone, email, live chat and instant messaging
- Working collaboratively with the Sales & Renewals team to consistently achieve SLAs, Sales Targets & Retention Rates
- Is committed to future personal development and growth
Qualifications/skills
- APA required or working towards
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail / accuracy
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Decision making skills and sound numeric skills
- Customer Focus – Increase customer satisfaction through the delivery of excellent service
Experience
- Previous telephone Sales Experience
- Experience working in a pressurised environment with a proven record in meeting Sales and/or Retention targets
- You have a proven ability to deal with problems and solve them effectively
Experience working positively as part of a team and in supporting and motivating others to achieve team objectives
