Hollilander Recruitment is looking for suitable HCA candidates for hospitals across Ireland for Agency/Locum shift work. We are hiring candidates immediately, with a view to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for HCA's in Weford.

Responsibilities

Supporting the nursing staff in providing care to the residents
Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the residents
Assisting residents with eating and drinking
Assisting residents with mobilizing and using correct aids
Facilitate and implement a person-centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes and requirements of the resident.
Escorting or/and transfer residents as directed by the Nursing staff
Promote and actively involved in teamwork.
Any other duties deemed necessary by nursing staff and management.

Qualifications

QQI or FETAC Level 5 Healthcare/Pre nursing
Eligible to work in Ireland
Minimum 6 months experience working in healthcare setting/elderly care
Enthusiastic, caring, reliable
Flexible to work different shifts
Strong interpersonal communication skills

12 hour shift
8 hour shift
Day shift
Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

Wexford, CO. Wexford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Healthcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or relevant education (preferred)
